So ... i keep writing about relationships ... being mainly focused on why relationships don't work anymore after a while ... even if many times relationships start so, so nicely.
And ... somehow ... i realise that another important factor is the fact that we don't take any real risks for those relationships.
When i say this ... i actually have in mind something ... really different than you might think.
You see ... i trend to believe that we don't really take the risk of ... loving for real.
I also believe that we don't do anything for real to totally disconnected from our past, our old habits which are in total contradiction with the relationship itself ... and we don't really want to change anything at all.
We simple want to enjoy the story ... not really doing something for it.
Maybe the passing of time made us understand that all relationships are ... temporary ... having a beginning, the story itself and the end ... so after a while we just don't
bother anymore to do something good for it ... even if it starts so, so nicely.
And when we ask ... "Why don't you want to take any risks?!" ... we don't really get an answer ... but somehow it's obviously.
... all.
In fact ... none of the partners are bothering to do something... and speaking about risks is almost ... a nonsense.
So ... bottomline we enjoy the story ... as much as it is possible... but the moment when we are into the position of doing anything for the story .... we smile and say ... "Why?! Why should i do that?!".
Unconsciously ... most probably .... especially late in life ... we feel that this is actually just one of the stories we need to experience during this lifetime.
So ... indeed ... why we should take any risks?!
Why we should bother to invest anything into a story which will end anyway?!
Many .... don't even pretend anymore.
Simple taste the best the relationship can offer and then ... just disappear from than story ... dreaming at the beauty of the illusory energies induced at the beginning of a new relationship.
